Agency NYLFF Nominated for New York Emmy Awards For NYC Health Bilingual Covid-19 Public Awareness Campaign

NEW YORK, NY — July 6, 2022 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Agency NYLFF, the marketing arm of the New York Latino Film Festival, has been nominated for Best Public Service Campaign for "Vaccinate NYC '' at the New York Emmy Awards for its impactful and acclaimed work with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYCDOHMH). The nomination comes after the agency’s recent win of a Silver Telly Award for the same campaign. The bilingual campaign was created to increase awareness, and prompt action, among Latino and African-American communities in New York City, groups which continue to face disproportionate health and economic impacts from COVID-19. The Emmy Awards winners will be announced in October 2022 at a live in-person event and via livestream broadcast on the NY Emmys website.

The comprehensive campaign developed by Agency NYLFF included English/Spanish language television commercials featuring authentic, inspiring, and diverse narratives centered around family and activities familiar to younger audiences. The commercial spots titled "The Shot Keeps Us Strong;" "I Did It For My Mom;" 'Every Shot Is Essential;" and "Family Dinner" were broadcast to local New York City audiences, as well as shared nationally and internationally, in Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. Reaching millions, the “ Every Shot is Essential” spot alone garnered more than 1.3 million views on YouTube. Additional campaign assets were also created for Outdoor (Billboard and Transit), Radio (English and Spanish), and Social Media. The campaign is considered one of the most popular and effective public health campaigns presented by the NYCDOHMH.
