Arisleidy Pérez, a Latina entrepreneur with an unwavering passion for beauty, has turned her dream into a tangible reality. As the owner of ABBA Blessed, her path to success began at home, and thanks to her hard work, faith, and the support of Chase for Business’ Coaching for Impact program, she now runs her own salon in Philadelphia.
A Lifelong Passion for Beauty
From a young age, Arisleidy knew that beauty was her calling. “I started studying beauty in my home country, the Dominican Republic, when I was 10 years old and graduated at 12,” she shares. After immigrating to the United States, she continued working in the industry until the pandemic led her to operate from home.
Over time, her talent attracted so many clients that working from home was no longer feasible. “I decided to put everything in God’s hands and expand. I got the opportunity to rent a space and completely renovated it,” she explains.
The name of her salon, ABBA Blessed, holds deep spiritual significance. “It was originally called Arisleidy Blessed Beauty Salon, but when I registered it as a corporation, I couldn’t use my name. I prayed and felt that I should use the name of my Father, God. That’s how ABBA was born, which means ‘Father’ in Hebrew,” she recalls.

Transitioning from a home-based business to a physical location has been both an exciting and challenging experience. “It’s a challenge, but also something truly beautiful. My clients have followed me to Philadelphia, and I strive to make a difference in customer service, ensuring that every person who walks in feels at home,” she says with pride.
Located at 7205 Stenton Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19138, ABBA Blessed is a modern and welcoming space that reflects Arisleidy’s passion and dedication to providing exceptional service.
Coaching for Impact: A Program That Changed Her Path
The Coaching for Impact program, an initiative by Chase for Business, has played a crucial role in her growth. Through this four-month program, Arisleidy received guidance in finance, business planning, and strategies for scaling her business.
“Before purchasing the location, I spoke with my coach, Josué Figueroa, because I was afraid of taking on so much responsibility. He helped me create a business plan, organize my finances, and prioritize expenses. He made me realize that the first years are tough and that I needed to be prepared,” she explains.

Additionally, Chase for Business offers low-interest loans for entrepreneurs, an opportunity that Arisleidy plans to explore once her business is more established.

After graduating from the Coaching for Impact program, her goal is to continue expanding her clientele and strengthening the stability of her salon. “I want my clients to feel comfortable and to constantly refresh the space to always offer the best,” she affirms.
In the long run, her vision is clear: “In five years, I want to have this salon well-established and open a second location,” she states with determination.
For other Latina women dreaming of entrepreneurship, her advice is simple yet powerful:
“Put everything in God’s hands, work hard, and be disciplined. That will take you to another level.”
With her story of perseverance, faith, and success, Arisleidy Pérez serves as an inspiring example for other women looking to turn their dreams into reality.
