As part of the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the editorial group Hispanic Media, along with its main sponsors, will recognize the work of six Latin American descendants whose contributions and work have improved the living conditions of many of the immigrants who work and prosper in Philadelphia.
Among the personalities who will be honored during the Hispanic Heritage Month Gala stands out the Vice President of Regulatory Policy and Strategy of Commonwealth Edison (ComEd), Richard Negrin who will be honored with the special distinction of the Heritage Award 2019.
This award recognizes the extraordinary career of Mr. Richard Negrin and his invaluable contribution to the creation of leadership and innovation strategies. It also highlights its significant support in consolidating ethical values related to diversity and community participation.
Mr. Negrin leads the development of ComEd’s regulatory policies and strategies and has fostered through Project Jumpstart a values-driven approach to leadership that empowers the workforce of the future.
During the Gala, the trajectory of outstanding professionals of the Hispanic community will also be recognized with the Crystal Award. The awardees are:
Joanna Otero-Cruz, Deputy Managing Director for the Community Services Cabinet.
Kersy Azócar, Senior Vice President of Microlending at, FINANTA.
Natalia Domínguez, Community Partnership Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region (Pennsylvania, South Jersey and Delaware).
Daniel Gustavo Loza, Attorney at Loza Law Firm and Legal Real Estate Broker licensed in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Hernán Brizuela, MD retired with 43 years of outstanding professional practice and a deep sense of community.
The awards ceremony will take place during the Hispanic Heritage Month Gala to be held on Friday, October 18 at the Crystal Tea Room, located at 100 Penn Square East Wanamaker Building – 9Th Floor -PA 19107.
Philadelphia has been a very active city during the Hispanic Heritage celebration and Hispanic Media has played an important role on this event, so, together with Goya Foods, PECO an Exelon Comapany and all its allies, year after year highlights the contribution of personalities to the development of our nation and the impact they have in different fields of knowledge, arts, sciences and human values.
