The Police investigation and search for the missing child, King Hill has been marked by contradictory stories provided by the adults involved in his disappearance.
King was reported missing on Wednesday night by his stepfather. Police Capt. Mark Burgmann said the boy was in the care of a babysitter, who is a friend of the stepfather. According to police, the babysitter told the stepfather she returned King to his biological mother.
However King´s mother declared that did not happen.
“The babysitter advised the stepfather that she had returned the child to the mother, however, that’s being disputed by the mother,” Burgmann said. “The biological mother is claiming she did not return the child to her. We are very aggressively investigating this to find out where the child is.”
Police have found that the versions are contradictory. “Somebody’s not telling us the truth,” Burgmann said.

“Everyone’s been cooperative so far, they have,” the captain said. “Like I said, it just comes down to one person said I returned the child, the others saying no she didn’t. At this point in time, we have no idea where the child is.”
Investigators are in the process of obtaining surveillance video to confirm if the babysitter actually dropped the child off to the mother.
