In an exclusive message to El Sol Latino Newspaper, Jose Rivera, President of Fortaleza Rehabilitation and Fitness Center in Philadelphia asked the citizens to follow the protocols that have been indicated by city authorities to fight coronavirus. “We need to stay together, keep our composure. Please don´t go out if you don´t have to go out. It’s very important, it´s been stressed a lot.”
He also highlighted the need to follow the guidelines on social distance because it has shown positive results in controlling the spread of COVID-19. He said that it can make “a big difference” while a vaccine is developed. “I believe this method is helping. I´m positive about this. I think this can really make a big difference. Meanwhile, we are putting this on the hands of scientists, doctors, and people who are fighting a way to find a vaccine.”
The Fortaleza Rehabilitation and Fitness Center, as many other businesses, has been affected by the crisis generated by the coronavirus. At the moment, the facility is working with limitations. They had to close the fitness center although the physical therapy services are open to the public.
For the time being, Rivera says that it is necessary to follow the measures to keep ourselves safe. “We´re learning that we have to keep ourselves in the best clean way.”
