Dr. Anthony Fauci will be a featured speaker during the NAHP 2020 Convention to be held from Monday 21 to Friday 25.
Dr. Fauci, Director, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and Chief, NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation at the National Institutes of Health, will provide a chat on the topic of the pandemic during his participation on Tuesday, September 22.

Dr. Elena Rios, President, and CEO, National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) will moderate the discussion. Moreover, since January 2020, he has been one of the lead members of the Trump administration’s White House Coronavirus Task Force.

Dr. Fauci has served as a physician, the American public health in various capacities for more than 50 years. Besides this, he has been an advisor to every U.S. president since Ronald Reagan. Additionally, Anthony Fauci has made contributions to HIV/AIDS research and other immunodeficiency diseases. He has done this as a scientist and as the head of the NIAID at the NIH. From 1983 to 2002, Fauci was one of the world’s most frequently-cited scientists across all scientific journals.
Healthcare adversity
The NAHP 2020 Convention program begins Monday, September 21, and concludes on Friday, September 25. Attendees have the opportunity to participate in one or both of the scheduled sessions each day of the convention.
The Latino/Hispanic community healthcare adversity will be the main topic on Tuesday’s session. Participants will be able to submit questions via the virtual platform.
