President-elect Donald Trump is ready to return to the White House on January 20. After assuming his second non-consecutive term, he promised to act on issues such as immigration, the economy, and climate regulations.
1) Mass Deportation of Immigrants
The mass deportation of undocumented immigrants has been one of the key issues Trump has emphasized, and he has stated that he will take immediate action upon assuming office. He also pledged to complete the construction of the border wall with Mexico, which was started during his first term.
2) Economic, Fiscal, and Tariff Measures
Trump also promised to curb inflation, which reached high levels during Joe Biden’s presidency. He committed to broad tax cuts, extending his 2017 reform, ensuring tips are not taxed, eliminating taxes on social security payments, and reducing corporate taxes.
