Meet Daisy Gonzalez, the Philadelphia Chase Community Manager based at the Aramingo branch. In this pivotal role, Daisy serves as a local ambassador for Chase, focusing on fostering relationships with key community leaders, nonprofit partners, and small businesses. Her work is part of Chase’s broader commitment to racial equity, with 150 Community Managers hired nationwide to address the racial wealth gap, enhance financial health, and promote financial inclusion.
Daisy is one of two Community Managers in Philadelphia. She, along with Chandra Williams, who is her counterpart based at the Chase West Philadelphia Community Center Branch, plays a crucial role in engaging diverse communities, hosting financial health workshops, and organizing community events. By developing close relationships with customers, they provide personalized support to help individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals. Daisy’s mission is to improve financial health among residents, businesses, and the community by identifying local needs and facilitating collaboration opportunities.
Daisy’s responsibilities are threefold: listening to local leaders to understand community needs, building relationships and trust through community service, and improving financial health by hosting financial education sessions on various topics, from everyday banking to homeownership and small business management.

Daisy’s journey into banking began over thirty years ago when she seized an opportunity to interview with a small bank through Aspira. Starting as a teller, she quickly recognized the need to assist Latino clients who spoke Spanish exclusively, which led to her promotion to a personal banker. Banking became more than a job—it became a way for Daisy to make a difference by introducing financial literacy to her community.
As a Community Manager, Daisy spends the majority of her time out in the community, connecting with organizations and individuals to understand their needs and collaborate on initiatives that drive positive change. She partners with small nonprofit organizations in the greater Philadelphia area, leveraging their insights to tailor Chase’s services to the community’s specific requirements.
Despite her diverse responsibilities, Daisy finds the most fulfillment in witnessing the transformative impact of her work on clients’ lives. Whether it’s helping someone transition from renting to homeownership or assisting a small business in scaling up, Daisy derives joy from seeing her community thrive.
The Aramingo community, where Daisy is deeply rooted, comprises 80% Latino customers. Fluent in their language and familiar with their experiences, Daisy serves as a trusted advocate, ensuring that Chase meets their needs effectively.
In Daisy Gonzalez, the Aramingo community has not just a Community Manager, but a dedicated ally committed to building financial health and trust, one relationship at a time.
