The Embassy of the Argentine Republic in the United States, through its Consular Section in Washington, D.C., informs the Argentine community residing in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware that it will hold a Consular Roaming in Philadelphia on Thursday, October 30th and Friday, October 31st.
This initiative aims to bring consular services closer to Argentine citizens living in the region, avoiding the need to travel to Washington, D.C.
During the event, the following procedures can be completed:
- Biometric passports. Valid for 10 years.
- National Identity Document (DNI).
Both documents will be issued in Argentina and subsequently sent to the Embassy in Washington, D.C., with an estimated delivery time of 4 to 6 weeks.
- Collection of previously issued and ready-made DNIs and passports
- Certification of signatures
- Authentication of copies
- Certificates of address and residence
- Travel permits
- Certificates of survival. For pension beneficiaries or retirees in Argentina.
Within the framework of this effort, the work of Minister Pablo Prosperi, a graduate of the Jean Mermoz Franco-Argentine High School in Buenos Aires, with a focus on Social Sciences and Economics, is highlighted. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Economics from the Catholic University in Washington, D.C., and his Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University.
He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and Worship of the Argentine Republic in January 2000. Throughout his diplomatic career, he has held positions in various areas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Latin America, Institutional Relations, Ceremonial Affairs, and the Cabinet of Ministers. He has also been posted abroad to:
- Bolivia, La Paz
- UNESCO, Paris
- Peru, Lima
- United States, Washington, D.C.
