The sweetness with which the exchange between Argentines and the city of Philadelphia flows in the ups and downs of life has been celebrated once again.
It was celebrated the great harmony, the strength and the bond that has left its mark on the Southerners who chose as their new home the place where the independence of the United States was born, the second state of the Union and Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love.
The VIII Argentine Gala, a commemorative event organized by Argentinos en Filadelfia and Casa Argentina, was recently held at the Malbec Restaurant. This was an opportunity for meeting and for being thankful for the achievements of the albiceleste heart community.

The Argentine Gala is a gift from its people, the opportunity to toast for the immigrants within their family and among their friends, in memory of those who helped them immigrate to the United States, be they grandparents, parents or themselves.
Dani Dayan, an Argentinian born, Consul General of Israel in New York was the main speaker. He celebrated together with his fellow countrymen all the progress achieved by this community of successful immigrants. They have made a difference in the world of arts, science, and the agricultural industry and in all areas of knowledge. These qualities describe Argentines as beloved citizens in Philadelphia and across the United States.
Tributes of the night
The VIII Argentine Gala in Philadelphia spared no effort in offering cultural nuances of the Homeland and reserved for the most emotional moments the comparsas sounds, heartfull tango steps and the strength of the pampas landscapes.

The first one, for her impeccable career in the world of arts, in teaching and in the visual arts. The second one, for his management skills in the financial performance that has supported the community and the third one, for her brave entrepreneurial which is an example not only of the nation but of the quality of women coming from it.
