El Sol Latino Noticias is a Hispanic Media editorial project recently launched. It is an informative experience that will be accessible every Friday starting at 6:00 pm at El Sol Latino Newspaper YouTube channel.
The presentation of this important media was made online last Friday, May 15, at a conference attended by allies, friends, readers, and community leaders from Philadelphia and Miami who were all thanked by Ricardo Hurtado, President & CEO of Hispanic Media.
El Sol Latino Noticias is a newscast that meets the information needs of the community and a step forward of the editorial group for the publication of editorial and advertising content, addressed to our followers in social networks.
According to an Hispanic Media corporate message, “In the midst of the uncertainty of today’s world, it is becoming increasingly important for the media to come up with cutting-edge and digital-friendly ways to bring the most valuable information to users. That is why this new project promises to be light, fresh, objective and accurate”.
A team work
Hispanic Media’s staff of journalists has been assembled into a task force that will be responsible for the most emblematic news, which will not only communicate world events but also educate and add quality to the audiences’ lives.
El Sol Latino News is part of the El Sol Latino TV project, an innovative initiative that will bring live programming, educational and informative content to the Hispanic community in the United States and the world.
El Sol Latino TV will have an Hispanic Media’s 360 advertising platform. All the information will be featured on its different social media: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, however, YouTube will be the main platform that will serve as a link between El Sol Latino TV and the viewers.

Cata Pérez as an anchor
The experienced interviewer and audiovisual reporter Catalina Pérez will lead the editions of El Sol Latino Noticias and be at the head of the production of informative micro-broadcasts meant to reach out the social networks.
Cata Pérez has a rich experience that includes hosting sponsored sections of Univision Communications Inc. and four editions of Estylo Magazine’s Cover Party and Red Carpets.
She has also held journalistic positions in Colombia directing and presenting magazines, micro chronicles, a documentary series and cultural content and interior design programs.
She will be seen every Friday at 6:00 pm on El Sol Latino News and at the Instagram information pods on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8:00 pm.
