Ahead of this year’s Octuber 1st REAL ID deadline in Pennsylvania, state Representative Angel Cruz is informing constituents in the 180th Legislative District that his office can help those who want a REAL ID.
“People who may need to go to a federal building to handle business, enter a military installation or board a domestic fight will need a REAL ID, photo ID card or another form of federally acceptable identification such as a valid passport or military ID,” Cruz said. “The start date for the REAL ID implementation will be here before we know it, and I want to make sure those constituents who would like a REAL ID have enough time to get one.”
Cruz added that his office can help constituents determine if they need a REAL ID, provide information on what documents they will need and go over the steps they need to take to get an optional REAL ID.
Constituents can call Cruz’s district office at 215-291-5643 or visit at 3503 North B. St., Unit 7, Philadelphia, Pa. 19134 with any questions.
